Chelsea Valois was inducted into the University of Regina Sports Hall of Fame in 2023.

Valois capped her five-year career with the Cougars track & field team with a national pentathlon gold medal in 2011. She also won a CIS silver medal in the pentathlon in 2009 and took home 10 Canada West medals during her time at the U of R. Valois broke the school's pentathlon record in her first season with the Cougars and her career-best total of 3778 points stood as the U of R all-time mark for a full nine seasons following her final year.

An actuarial science major, Valois was also a standout in the classroom. She was named an Academic All-Canadian in 2008-09 and was the recipient of the 2011 University of Regina President's Award, given annually to the student-athlete who best represents the combination of academic and athletic excellence.

After completing her eligibility with the Cougars, Valois went on to a career in bobsleigh as a brakewoman. Her remarkable rookie season was highlighted by earning two medals at the 2013 FIBT World Championships in Switzerland as well as winning the overall 2012-13 Bobsleigh World Cup two-woman title along with Kaillie Humphries. Valois competed in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia in the two-woman bobsleigh alongside Jennifer Ciochetti.

Valois was the second former women's track & field athlete to be enshrined in the University of Regina Sports Hall of Fame, joining her former teammate Janine Polischuk (2017).
