Dr. Don Clark, who guided the University of Regina’s men’s wrestling team for 13 seasons in the 1970s and 1980s, also served as a professor emeritus in the faculty of physical activity studies from 1970 to 1998. Under Clark’s guidance, over 45 Cougar wrestlers earned conference and CIAU medals during his time as head coach. Clark has a distinguished history of volunteer and professional involvement in amateur sport which continues to this day, as he currently serves as the academic advisor for the University of Regina’s football team.
