Sebastien Ouellet joined the University of Regina's coaching staff as a middle distance coach in fall of 2023.
Ouellet has been coaching in Regina with Excel Athletika since 2017. He also coaches high school track & field and cross country, helping guide École Monseigneur de Laval to cross country provincial championships in both 2021 and 2022 and a track & field provincial title in 2023.
As a competitor, Ouellet was a standout runner for Sherbrooke University and helped the Vert et Or win national championships in both 1999 and 2000. He was a two-time national champion in the 1000-metre run and also won national medals in both the 600-metre run and the 4x800-metre relay.
