Matt Yausie joined the University of Regina's coaching staff as a special teams coach prior to the 2011 season after playing for the Rams during the 2009 and 2010 seasons.
Yausie, who was named a Canada West all-star in his final season with the Rams, also played for the University of Saskatchewan during the 2006 and 2007 campaigns after playing for five seasons with the Saskatoon Hilltops. He was part of the Huskies' 2006 squad that made a Vanier Cup appearance.
Yausie, a human kinetics major, is currently completing his Bachelor of Kinesiology degree at the U of R. He's also a part-time yoga instructor.
