Bruce Anderson joined the Rams' coaching staff as a linebackers coach prior to the 2014 season.

Anderson is originally from Port Moody, B.C. but attended Butte College in Oroville, Calif. after graduating from Centennial Secondary in 2006. After two seasons with the Roadrunners, Anderson came to the U of R for three seasons in the CIS. His career was capped off by a stellar 2010 season which saw him earn Canada West all-star honours after collecting 39½ tackles and leading the conference with four fumble recoveries. He was a two-time recipient of Canada West Defensive Player of the Week honours during his time with the Rams.

Anderson lives in Regina with his wife Shirrae, a former standout pitcher for the University of Regina's softball club. He received his Associate of Arts degree from Butte College and also earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the U of R in 2011. Currently employed at Regina Sports & Physiotherapy Clinic, Anderson was the linebackers coach at the College of Notre Dame in 2012 and the defensive coordinator for the Hounds during the 2013 season.
