Regina Cougars Men's and Women's Swimming Head Coach Baylee Munro announced Tuesday that Lumsden High School's Sadie Anderson has committed to compete for the program for the 2025-26 season. Anderson swam with the Regina Optimist Dolphins Swim team (RODS), where she was within 0.07 seconds of USPORTS standard in the 50m Butterfly with her personal best of 29.03.

"We're really excited to have Sadie officially sign with the Cougars," said Munro. "She's an awesome person, a huge relay asset for both butterfly and breaststroke, and she's a great student as well."

Anderson is the RODS U16 record holder in the 50m and 100m butterfly. She also has personal bests of 34.40 and 1:14.11 in the 50m and 100m breaststroke.

Along with competing locally with the RODS, Anderson competed in the Mel Zajac Jr. International Meet in Vancouver in May. She was also a member of Team Saskatchewan at the 2022 Canada Games.

Anderson will be enrolling in the Faculty of Arts through Luther College in the Fall.
