Regina Cougars Women's Hockey head coach
Brandy West-McMaster announced Friday that goaltender Payton Schlamp has committed to the program for the 2025-26 season.
"We are pleased to welcome Payton to the program," said West-McMaster. "She brings experience, poise, and a strong competitive edge between the pipes. We're excited to see the impact she'll make on and off the ice this season."
Schlamp most recently played for the Lumsden U22 Lynx of the SJFHL, where she produced a .919 save percentage and a 2.40 goals-against average in 34 games played, including a 43-save shutout in the 2024-25 playoffs. Before joining the Lynx, Schlamp spent four seasons with the Regina Rebels, posting a 34-10 record.
Schlamp will be enrolling in the Faculty of Arts (pre-med) through Luther College in the Fall.
