Brandy West-McMaster announced Thursday that Isabelle Lutttmerding – a forward from Calgary, AB – has committed to the program and will join the team for the 2026-27 season.
"We're excited to welcome Izzy to the Cougars," said West-McMaster. "She is a big physical presence who brings intensity every shift, plays the game with power and purpose, and is going to be a force on both ends of the ice."
Luttmerding plays for the Calgary Fire U18 program. In 2024-25, she had 13 points in 28 games. The season prior, she posted 12 goals and 23 assists in 31 regular season games, and added 1 goal and 3 assists in 8 playoff games.
Luttmerding is planning to enroll in either the Faculty of Business Administration or the Faculty of Arts.
