University of Regina men's hockey coach Trevor Keeper announced Friday that goaltender Spencer Borsos has committed to the program. Borsos played in 46 games for the Notre Dame Hounds in 2024-25, finishing with a .900 save percentage.
"Committing to play hockey and continue my education at the University of Regina is a huge milestone for me," said Borsos. "I'm pumped for the opportunity to compete, grow, and succeed with a great group."
Before joining the Hounds, Borsos – who is from North Vancouver, BC – played for the Calgary Canucks of the AJHL, starting 52 games over three seasons with the program.
"We are very excited to have Spencer join our program," said Keeper. "He is an absolute workhouse and is not afraid to do what it take to allow his team to compete every night. He is a fantastic locker room guy and a true competitor on the ice. We are lucky to have him."
Borsos will be enrolling in the Faculty of Business Administration in the Fall.
