Box Score Game Summary

Caine Pearpoint scored just three minutes into the game to open the scoring for Regina, but that would be the only goal of the game for the Cougars as they suffered a 3-1 loss at Calgary on Friday night in a Canada West men's hockey game.

Brett O'Malley, Teegan Moore, and Jevon Desautels all scored for the Dinos, who improve to 3-2-0 with the win. The Cougars fall to 3-3-1 on the year.

Jeff Weber made 26 saves to secure the win for Calgary. Brant Hilton stopped 25 of the Dinos' 28 shots in the loss.

The two teams will face off again on Saturday night at 7 p.m. at Father David Bauer Arena.
