About the Team
The University of Regina Softball team competes in the Western Collegiate Softball Association, with a primary season running from September through October. During the competitive season, the team practices three to four times per week, preparing for league play and the opportunity to qualify for the Canadian Collegiate Softball Association national championship.
In the offseason, the team continues to train with weekly practices to maintain skill development and team cohesion. Tryouts are held in July and are open to all current University of Regina students. The program emphasizes a high level of commitment, teamwork, and competitive performance. Players are also expected to participate in fundraising initiatives that support travel and program operations.
Softball provides a structured and competitive environment for students looking to represent the University of Regina at the collegiate level.
