Lisa Urban made 38 saves to backstop the University of Regina's women's hockey team to a 3-0 win over the Lethbridge Pronghorns on Friday night in Lethbridge.
The Pronghorns fired 12 shots at Urban in the first period, 14 in the second, and 12 more in the final frame but were unable to beat the third-year goaltender. The shutout was the third of Urban's CIS career.

We played better in the second half of the game but we still have improvements to make as a team.”
Regina scored one goal in each of the three periods.

Kelcie McCutcheon scored early in the second, and
Paige Wheeler tallied an insurance goal in the early stages of the third.
The Cougars, who were outshot 38-27 during the game, improve to 1-2-0 on the season. Lethbridge falls to 0-3-0.
The two teams will meet again on Saturday night in Lethbridge. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Nicholas Sheran Arena.
