Box Score Game Summary

The Saskatchewan Huskies completed a two-game weekend sweep over the University of Regina with a 3-1 win over the Cougars on Saturday night in Saskatoon.

Andrew Bailey and David Linsley both scored for the Huskies in the second period. Craig Cuthbert cut the lead to one five minutes into the third, but Bailey restored the two-goal lead with an insurance goal seven minutes later.

Regina goalie Adam Ward was peppered with 48 shots and saved 45 of them. Jeff Harvey made 31 saves to secure the win for Saskatchewan.

Now 4-10-0 on the season, the Cougars will not play their next Canada West games until Jan. 8 and 9, when they travel to Vancouver for a pair of games against UBC.
