Box Score Game Summary
The University of Regina's men's hockey team was successful on all four of its shootout attempts as the Cougars took a 4-3 win over the Calgary Dinos on Friday night at the Sherwood Ice Sports Centre.

Dillon Johnstone,
Devon LeBlanc, and
Carter Smith all scored for the Cougars in the shootout. Each of Calgary's first three shooters replied with goals, but Regina's
Brant Hilton stymied Brett O'Malley in the fourth round to secure the win for the Cougars.
The game was forced into overtime by a last-minute goal by Johnstone, as the third-year forward tied up the game on the power play with just 54 seconds remaining in regulation and Hilton pulled for the extra attacker.
Cory Pritz opened the scoring for Calgary with a power play goal in the latter stages of the first period. Pritz's goal stood up until the waning moments of the second, when
Carter Smith tied up the game with just 13 seconds left in the period.
Aaron Richards scored his eighth of the season to put Calgary back into the lead with just under five minutes gone in the third.
Caine Pearpoint responded for Regina near the midway point of the third, with Jagow helping out with his second assist of the night.
Reid Jorgensen's goal gave Calgary a late 3-2 lead, setting the stage for Johnstone's last-minute heroics to send the game into extra time.
Calgary scored all three of its goals on the power play and ended up 3-for-7 with the man advantage. The Cougars scored on two of their seven power play opportunities. Hilton made 27 saves in regulation for the Cougars, while Dustin Butler stopped 23 shots for Calgary.
The win improves Regina's record to 7-11-1, while Calgary falls to 10-8-5 with the loss. The two teams willl play again on Saturday night at 7 p.m. in Regina.
