Box Score Game Summary

The University of Regina's men's hockey team ended its season on Saturday with a 3-1 road loss to the Calgary Dinos at the Max Bell Arena.

Calgary opened the scoring with just under three minutes remaining in the first period when a Colton Grant pass from behind the net found Teegan Moore, who knocked it in for his fourth of the season.

Calgary's Matt Isbister scored 31 seconds into the second period, and Tyler Swystun extended the home side's lead to 3-0 with a goal at the 14:20 mark.

Brandon Blair scored his first CIS goal three minutes into the third after his shot from the point caromed off the end boards and off Calgary goalie Dustin Butler and in to make it 3-1, but that would prove to be the final goal of the contest for either team.

Butler made 21 saves in the win for Calgary (16-8-2) as the Dinos become the second Canada West team to clinch a playoff berth.

The lone fifth-year player on the U of R roster, Adam Ward stopped 18 shots in his final start as a Cougar. Regina ends the season with an 8-18-2 conference record.
