Jess Ross got the start between the pipes for Mount Royal and was brilliant, making 40 saves as the U of R had a lopsided 41-28 advantage in shots during the game.
Harrison scored Mount Royal's other goal just three minutes into the first period, giving the third-year forward a two-point night. Jocelyn Froehlich and Tanika Dawson drew assists on Harrison's goal, her sixth of the season.
Rianne Wight's goal midway through the second period turned out to be the only one of the game for the U of R.

Carleen Meszaros earned the assists on Wight's goal, which moves the fifth-year forward into third on the school's all-time list in career goals (49) and into fourth on the U of R's career charts in career points (92).
Mount Royal ended up 1-for-6 on the power play, while the U of R was held scoreless on its four opportunities with the man advantage.
Mount Royal improves to 7-13-2 with the win and will host UBC next weekend in Calgary, while Regina (14-7-1) will prepare for a home-and-home with Saskatchewan as the two teams will meet in Saskatoon next Friday and in Regina on Saturday.
