Lethbridge sits at 2-8-0 on the season, and is coming off a pair of wins last weekend against the Manitoba Bisons.Â
"Lethbridge is playing strong hockey right now," head coach
Todd Johnson said. "We'll have to stick to our style of play and force them to make mistakes that we can capitalize on."
Gore and
Mitch Kilgore have each seen time between the pipes this season for the Cougars, with Gore making seven starts and Kilgore getting the nod in three games.
"I was really impressed with the physicality the guys played with last weekend, you have to give them credit," Johnson added. "We hadn't reached the same level as last year so I challenged the guys to play strong, physical hockey for 60 minutes and they stepped up."
Lethbridge is led by forwards Brandon Clowes and Mitchell Maxwell, who have each collected six points through 10 games.
Friday's game is scheduled for 8 p.m. Saskatchewan time, and Saturday's game is slated for 4 p.m. Saskatchewan time.
