The University of Regina women's soccer team earned its fourth draw of the Canada West campaign on Sunday, battling Mount Royal University to a 1-1 draw.
The Cougars only managed five shots on Sunday, but put four of them on goal. MRU countered with 15 shots and tested
Ashton Lowry with nine on goal. The third-year keeper made eight saves including a big one in the 85

First-Year Phenom
For the second-straight match, the Cougars struck first thanks to rookie
Sally Bachmann. The Pitt Meadows, B.C. product notched her third goal of the season and second of the weekend in the 35
th minute off a free kick taken by
Lauren Petras. Bachmann was able to get into the path of the ball and put a header past Cailyn Leeson to put the Cougars on top.
Second-Half Comeback
For the fourth time this season the Cougars carried a lead into halftime but were unable to close the deal and earn their first win of the season. The Regina lead on Sunday lasted into the 83
