Lethbridge got on the board first thanks to a powerplay goal at the 13:50 mark of the opening frame. White scored his second goal of the weekend and seventh of the season off assists from Russell Maxwell and Valentino to give the home team the lead.
The Cougars answered back with a powerplay marker of their own before the end of the period, as McPhee banged home a rebound for his fourth of the year. A pair of defencemen set up the equalizer, as Tyler King and Landon Peel each picked up their ninth assists of the campaign.
After a quiet start to the second period, Lethbridge rattled off three goals in three minutes, as Sanvido, Valentino and Wardley were all able to beat MacAuley to stretch the home team's lead to 4-1 after 40 minutes.
Valentino continued his stellar night in the third period, scoring a shorthanded goal at the 3:01 mark for his fourth point of the night. Chynoweth added the finishing touches late with his sixth of the year.
Regina falls to 3-14-1 with the loss, and will prepare to play the first-place Saskatchewan Huskies next weekend in a home-and-home series.
