The Cougars hit 18 three-pointers in the win as they shot 51% from the arc.

The victory improves Regina's record to 4-4 as the Cougars have now won four of their past five games.
Saskatchewan had won five consecutive games to start the Canada West schedule, but drops to 5-1 with the loss. J.T. Robinson scored a team-leading 24 points for the Huskies.
The Huskies had a 20-19 lead after the opening quarter, but the Cougars simply exploded in the second. They shot 10-for-13 from three-point range and outscored Saskatchewan 38-14, giving them a 57-34 lead at halftime. The Cougars led comfortably the entire second half, cruising to their first road win over a ranked team since an 83-79 win over then-No. 8 UBC back in January of 2016.
The Cougars will close out the first half of the Canada West schedule next weekend with two home games against Alberta. The Golden Bears have a 7-1 conference record and are currently ranked No. 6 in the U SPORTS poll.
