Sophia Stevens to come away with a 2-2 road draw with Winnipeg on Friday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Winnipeg's Hasana Church scored in the 17th minute to notch the lone goal of the first half
- The Cougars tied it up as Jessica Merk blasted a free kick just inside the left post in the 65th minute for her second goal of the season
- Winnipeg took the lead again in the 76th minute with an Emma Friesen strike
- The Cougars tied it up in injury time when Grace Miller headed a cross from Taylor Bubnick to Stevens, who collected the ball and scored from in tight
STANDINGS
The Cougars (0-3-4) remain in sixth place in Canada West's Prairie Division, but picked up a point on fifth-place Manitoba (3-4-0) after the Bisons' loss to Saskatchewan.Â
