QUICKLY
  • The University of Regina women's hockey team closed its home schedule with a pair of losses to the University of Manitoba Bisons on Friday and Saturday, falling 2-0 and 6-1 at The Co-operators Centre.

FRIDAY HIGHLIGHTS
  • The teams played to a scoreless first period before Manitoba opened the scoring late in the second when Hanna Bailey scored at 17:42.
  • The Cougars pressed late, but Manitoba sealed the win with an empty-net goal by Jessie Haner at 19:48 of the third period.
  • Regina goaltender Amy Swayze made 31 saves in the loss, while Manitoba's Emily Shippam stopped all 12 shots she faced to earn the shutout.

SATURDAY HIGHLIGHTS
  • Manitoba struck early as Sadie Keller scored an unassisted goal at 3:23 of the first period to give the Bisons a 1–0 lead.
  • The visitors added two more goals in the second period, with Julia Bilous scoring unassisted at 6:55 before Norah Collins capitalized on a power play at 9:36.
  • Regina got on the board a little past the midway point of the second period. Pippy Pritchard found Quinn McLaren for a shot from the high slot which was saved, but Pritchard went to the net for the rebound and was rewarded with her fourth goal of the season to get the Cougars to within two.
  • Manitoba pulled away in the third period with unanswered goals by Aimee Patrick and a pair by Sara Harbus to cement the series sweep.
