UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2018: Started all eight Canada West games at safety ... tied for the team lead with two interceptions, both of which came in the team's Week 6 win over Alberta (Oct. 12) ... was named the Canada West and the U SPORTS Defensive Player of the Week following the win over the Golden Bears ... caught a 16-yard pass from Cole Benkic on a fake punt in Week 8 against Saskatchewan (Oct. 26) ... finished second on the team in tackles, ending up with 26 solo and 18 assisted during the conference schedule ... in addition to the two interceptions, also had four pass breakups ... collected 1½ tackles for loss.
UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2017: Played in seven of the team's eight Canada West games ... started all seven of those games in the defensive backfield, including six at safety and one at halfback ... finished the conference schedule with 27 tackles (22 solo, 10 assisted) ... also had three tackles for loss and three pass breakups in league play ... started at safety in the team's Canada West semifinal at UBC (Nov. 4).
UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2016: Played in seven of eight Canada West games and emerged as the team's starting safety beginning with the Week 5 game against Saskatchewan ... also started at will linebacker in the Week 1 game at Saskatchewan ... recorded eight solo tackles, 15 assisted tackles, 1½ tackles for loss including a nine-yard sack, one interception, and three pass breakups during the conference schedule ... lone interception of the season was a critical one, picking off a pass at the Rams' six-yard line and returning it 18 yards with just over four minutes remaining in the team's Week 7 win over UBC ... also started at safety in the team's Canada West semifinal against UBC, recording four solo tackles, two assisted tackles, and a 47-yard interception.
PERSONAL: Enrolled in the Faculty of Education ... played for the Okanagan Sun (BCFC) for three seasons before coming to the U of R ... was named a CJFL All-Canadian in 2015 at defensive back after recording 26 tackles and five pass deflections while leading Okanagan to a perfect 10-0 record ... won a BCFC championship and made an appearance in the Canadian Bowl in 2015 with the Sun ... attended Livingstone School (Lundbreck, Alta.) and played football for the Pincher Creek Mustangs before joining Okanagan.
