UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2008: Started all eight regular season games at centre in his first season of eligibility ... key part of the offensive line that helped quarterback Teale Orban lead the conference in passing yards (1809) and touchdown passes (10) ... was credited with one reception for three yards on Sept. 6 against Saskatchewan, when a pass by Orban was deflected to Bennett and the Huskies declined the ensuing penalty ... also started the team's Canada West semifinal game against Calgary at centre.
