- Attended Kelowna Secondary and played for the Owls during the 2022, 2023, and 2024 seasons
- Played for Team British Columbia at the 2024 Football Canada Cup in Regina
PERSONAL
- Mother Becky Poley was a five-year member of the U of R's women's basketball team
- Father Scott Schutz was a two-time All-Canadian for the University of Saskatchewan's men's volleyball team and also coached the U of R's men's volleyball team from 2001 to 2007
- Older sister Ryenn Schutz plays for the U of R's women's basketball team
- Grandfather Bob Poley played for 15 seasons in the CFL as an offensive lineman with Saskatchewan and Calgary
