Brett Jones joined the team's staff as an offensive line coach in 2023.
Jones played a total of 61 regular season games in the NFL between the 2016 and 2020 seasons for the New York Giants and the Minnesota Vikings. He started 19 of those contests, including 13 in the 2017 season alone at both guard and centre for the Giants. Jones also played in one postseason game, appearing in the Giants' 2016 NFC Wild Card Game against Green Bay.
Jones was drafted in the second round by Calgary in the 2013 CFL Draft and played two seasons with the Stampeders. He was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie in 2013, the CFL's Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman in 2014, and helped Calgary win the 2014 Grey Cup before signing with the Giants to begin his NFL career.
At the U of R, Jones played from 2009 to 2012 with the Rams. He was a two-time first-team All-Canadian, a two-time Russ Jackson Award nominee as Canada West's Outstanding Student-Athlete, and earned Academic All-Canadian honours in all four of his U SPORTS seasons.
