Frankie Gray

  • Title
    Quarterbacks Coach
Frankie Gray joined the Rams coaching staff as the quarterbacks coach prior to the 2021 season.

Gray played multiple positions for the Rams during his time as a player, starting out as a quarterback but also contributing later on in his career at receiver and defensive back.

At one point, Gray held the University of Regina record for longest rush by a quarterback after going for a 48-yard rumble in his second year in a game against UBC. His longest completion was a 58-yard toss to Addison Richards and he also had touchdown passes to Connor Haas and Eric Wicijowski in his career, the latter coming in a wild double-overtime victory over Alberta in his final season with the program.

Among the quarterbacks that Gray has coached since he joined the team's staff is Owen Sieben, who was named the Canada West Rookie of the Year in 2023.

Gray, who earned his Bachelor of Education degree from the U of R in 2017, works in Regina with the Molson Coors Beverage Company.
