Josh Donnelly was named the Rams' offensive coordinator in June, 2024.
Donnelly worked on the offensive side of the ball while sitting out the entire 2022 season due to injury and officially joined the staff as a pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the 2023 campaign. Under Donnelly's tutelage in 2023, Rams first-year quarterback Owen Sieben finished second in the conference in completion percentage (64.6%) and was named the Canada West Rookie of the Year.
Donnelly's U SPORTS playing career spanned from 2018 through 2021. After redshirting in 2018, Donnelly was the Rams' starting quarterback for the next three years. He finished his playing career with 2946 passing yards and 20 touchdowns in just 11 games played, completing 58% of his attempts while also rushing 37 times for 211 yards. Prior to his time at the U of R, Donnelly won 4A provincial championships with the LeBoldus Golden Suns in 2014, 2015, and 2016 and also played for Team Saskatchewan at the Football Canada Cup in both 2016 and 2017.
Donnelly, an Academic All-Canadian during the 2019-20 academic year, graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2024.
