Mark Becker joined the University of Regina’s coaching staff as a tight ends coach and scout team coordinator prior to the 2016 season.
Becker has extensive experience at the provincial level and has continued his involvement with the Team Saskatchewan program during his time with the Rams, helping the squad win a gold medal at the 2019 Football Canada Cup in Kingston, Ont.
Becker came to the Rams following a four-year stint with the Regina Thunder as their offensive line coach, helping guide them to a CJFL championship during the 2013 season. His coaching career began in 1989 starting with the Regina Minor Football and high school levels.
Becker is a planning supervisor with the Federated Co-operatives Limited’s Petroleum Facilities Department.
