Robbie Avram joined the Rams as an assistant defensive backs coach prior to the 2019 season.

Avram played in a total of 27 Canada West games as a defensive back over his five-plus seasons with the Rams. A standout in the classroom, Avram earned Academic All-Canadian status following the 2017 campaign and earned two degrees from the U of R. He graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in industrial systems engineering and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in history.
