UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2011-12: Redshirt season.

UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2010-11: Appeared in 17 of the team’s 24 conference games in her second season of eligibility … averaged 5.9 minutes played per game … scored 15 points and pulled down 21 rebounds … also had five assists and four steals … scored a season-high five points against Thompson Rivers (Jan. 14) … had a season-high five rebounds at Trinity Western (Nov. 13) ... played in three of the team's six postseason contests.

UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2009-10: Played in just one game (Nov. 7 at Lethbridge) before suffering a season-ending foot injury.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Sheldon-Williams Collegiate in Regina ... played for two years on the senior girls’ basketball team ... played with current teammate Lindsay Ledingham at Sheldon ... won a provincial championship with the Spartans in 2008 and a city championship in 2009 ... named an RHSAA second-team all-star in 2009 ... earned the team’s Hustle Award in 2007 and 2008 ... also competed in volleyball and track & field at Sheldon.

PROVINCIAL TEAM EXPERIENCE: Played for Team Saskatchewan’s U17 team in both 2007 and 2008 ... played for Team Sask’s U15 team in 2005 and 2006.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Lynn and Murray Belyk ... enrolled in the Faculty of Science ... has one brother (Kade) and two sisters (Haley and Britton) ... cousin Shea Murphy played for the U of R’s men’s basketball team for two seasons ... full name is Rayna Teal Belyk.
