Jeff grew up and playing minor hockey in near-by Lumsden. His Junior hockey career spanned 3 seasons in the SJHL from1990-93 with the Minot Americans and Nipawin Hawks. Following the SJHL, Jeff then suited up with the University of Regina Cougars from 1993-98 and graduated from the U of R with a BSc Chemistry. Jeff has been a U of R assistant coach since 2012-13.
