Mike Berard started his first season as an assistant coach with the Cougars men's hockey team in the 2020-21. He had competed with both U of R Hockey and Volleyball. Prior to his tenure with U of R Hockey, Mike also served as U of R Men's Volleyball Head Coach.
Mike has 3 children. Mathew (a member of the WCBL 2012 Champion Regina Red Sox), Parker (a member of U of R wrestling team for 3 seasons), and Spencer (played with both Dallas and Colorado Female U18 AAA hockey).
