UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2012-13: Named an Academic All-Canadian ... appeared in all 22 Canada West games for the Cougars and started 21 of them ... averaged 8.6 points and 4.3 rebounds per game during the conference schedule ... notched her first career double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds against Thompson Rivers (Nov. 23) ... also had a double-double (12 points, 12 rebounds) against Victoria in Game 2 of the Canada West quarterfinals (Feb. 23) ... had a season-high 22 points at Calgary (Feb. 1) ... matched her career high with 12 rebounds on two occasions ... led the Cougars with an average of 35.7 minutes played in the team's seven postseason games ... averaged 11.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in the playoffs and tied for the team lead with 14 three-pointers made.
UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2011-12: Started all 20 conference games for the Cougars ... averaged 10.3 points per game and was third on the Cougars with 18 three-pointers ... also finished second on the team with 48 steals ... shot 44.6% from the field during the conference schedule ... had a season-high 19 points and tied her career high with eight field goals against Lethbridge (Feb. 10) ... set career highs in free throws made (8) and attempted (10) against Alberta (Feb. 4) ... had a career-high 12 rebounds against Brock in the CIS West Regional final (Mar. 10) ... averaged 6.9 points per game and finished third on the Cougars with 52 rebounds in the team’s nine postseason games.
UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2010-11: Started the final 12 conference games for the Cougars and 18 in total … one of six U of R players to appear in all 24 Canada West games … averaged 7.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game … also had 36 assists and 29 steals … scored 19 points in the team’s 71-60 win over Manitoba on Feb. 19 … recorded a season-high 10 rebounds and a career-high 44 minutes played at Winnipeg (Jan. 22) … averaged 25.3 minutes played per game during the conference schedule ... was a perfect 5-for-5 from three-point land and scored a career-high 23 points in the team’s win over Victoria in the CIS West Regional semifinal (Mar. 11) ... finished third on the team with an average of 9.7 points per game in the postseason.
UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2009-10: Played in all 20 of the team’s conference games ... averaged 2.4 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 9.6 minutes played per game ... finished fifth on the Cougars with 19 offensive rebounds ... had a season-high nine points against Brandon on Jan. 23 and again at Simon Fraser in the Canada West championship game (Mar. 6) ... appeared in six of the team’s seven postseason games ... averaged 1.8 points and 1.3 rebounds per game in the playoffs.
UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2008-09: Played in seven of the team’s 22 conference games ... averaged 1.7 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 7.6 minutes played per game ... had a season-high five points at Lethbridge (Nov. 7) and at Manitoba (Jan. 10) ... also had five steals at Brandon on Nov. 29.
UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2007-08: Redshirt season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a 2007 graduate of Dr. Martin LeBoldus HS in Regina ... played for three seasons on the senior girls’ basketball team ... helped the team to provincial championships in both 2006 and 2007 ... finished as the city runner-up in 2005 ... was a two-time RHSAA all-star in both volleyball and basketball ... also competed in track & field for the Golden Suns.
PROVINCIAL TEAM EXPERIENCE: Played for Team Saskatchewan at the U17 level in both 2005 and 2006 ... was a member of Team Sask at the 2005 Canada Summer Games in Regina ... played for Team Saskatchewan’s U15 team in 2003 and 2004, helping the squad to a bronze medal at the 2004 nationals in Halifax.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Bernie and Patti Schmidt ... enrolled in the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research and is pursuing her Master of Science in Kinesiology and Health Studies ... played with older sister Rebecca during the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons with the U of R ... also has two other sisters, Jessica and Julia ... father Bernie is the offensive coordinator for the University of Regina Rams ... sister Julia was a redshirt with the U of R’s basketball team in 2007-08 and played for the University of Saskatchewan in both 2008-09 and 2009-10.
