• 2023-24 Canada West All-Rookie Team

UNIVERSITY OF REGINA 2023-24
  • Named to the Canada West All-Rookie Team after immediately stepping in as a starter for the Cougars
  • Played in all 20 Canada West games and started 17 while averaging 21.4 minutes played per game
  • Averaged 6.3 points and a team-leading 8.6 rebounds per game while also leading the Cougars with 18 blocks
  • Finished with 171 rebounds, tied for the 10th most in U of R single-season history
  • Scored a season-high 15 points at Thompson Rivers (Nov. 18)
  • Total of 18 rebounds against Brandon (Dec. 2) was the third most in a Canada West game in U of R history
  • Had three double-doubles during conference play
  • Also started both of the team's postseason games and finished with 10 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 blocks

PRIOR TO THE UNIVERSITY OF REGINA
  • Named a tournament first-team all-star and helped lead Team British Columbia to a silver medal at the 2022 17U National Championship
  • Led the Kelowna Secondary Owls to appearances in the BC School Sports 4A provincial tournament in both 2022 and 2023

PERSONAL
  • Mother Becky Poley was a five-year player for the Cougars and part of the 2000-01 CIAU championship-winning squad
  • Father Scott Schutz was head coach of the U of R's men's volleyball team from 2001 to 2007
  • Grandfather Bob Poley played for the junior Regina Rams before playing 15 CFL seasons including 12 with the Saskatchewan Roughriders
