PERSONAL: Born May 21, 1986 ... enrolled in the faculty of kinesiology & health studies ... played second base for the provincial championship-winning Winnipeg Lightning fastpitch team in 2004 and 2005 ... father Darryl played for the University of Manitoba Bisons and is currently the general manager of the Olds Grizzlys (AJHL).
