Toni Ross joined the Cougars as a goaltender coach prior to the 2020-21 season.

One of the top goaltenders in the history of the University of Regina's women's hockey program, Ross played with the Cougars for four seasons during a CIS career that stretched from 2012 to 2016. She remains second in school history in wins (36), goals-against average (2.19), and save percentage (.922) and is also third in the Cougars' all-time record book with seven shutouts.

Ross also played for one season with the Calgary Inferno of the Canadian Women's Hockey League.
