One of the most recognizable faces in Saskatchewan's soccer scene, Udo Baecker returns for his second stint on the coaching staff of the Regina Cougars. An assistant coach for the Cougars in 2001 and 2002 - their first two seasons as a Canada West program - Baecker returned nearly two decades later to serve as a support coach.

Baecker has a long and distinguished history of involvement in the sport, which was recognized as he earned a coach dedication award in 2019 at the Saskatchewan Sport Awards ceremony.

Baecker is the father of Cougars head coach Astrid Baecker.
