Braden Konschuh

Braden Konschuh joined the University of Regina's Varsity Sports team in July of 2006. As the Manager of Communications & Media Relations, he serves as the primary media contact for the U of R's varsity sports. He's also responsible for the management of cougarsandrams.com, gameday statistical operations, and overseeing various aspects of the school's CanadaWest.tv broadcasts.

Konschuh graduated from Bemidji State University, where he was a depth outfielder for the Beavers' NCAA Div. II baseball team during the 2003 season. He earned a master's degree in management communication from the University of Portland after working with the Pilots' sports information department during the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons.

Konschuh is married to the former Brittney Burns, a four-year standout for Bemidji State's volleyball team. They live in Regina with their sons Alex (born 2014) and Max (born 2016). He was born in Campbell River, B.C. but grew up in Aldergrove, a town on the eastern outskirts of the Greater Vancouver region. He now enjoys spending much of his spare time helping coach his sons' sports teams.
