Erica O'Neill was hired in August, 2015 as the University of Regina's assistant athletic therapist.
O'Neill graduated from the U of R in 2014 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and also received an Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University that same year. She's certified as an athletic therapist with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association and is also a certified strength and conditioning coach. In 2022, she completed her Master of Science in Kinesiology looking at the relationship between neurocognitive performance and athletic injuries.
After spending the 2014-15 season as the team therapist for the Regina Pat Canadians, O'Neill spent eight months working privately with patients in a clinical setting before coming to the U of R.
A former figure skater and also an NCCP-certified figure skating coach, O'Neill enjoys running, yoga, and spending time with her family in her free time.
