Shauna Machnaik has been an executive assistant with the University of Regina's Faculty of Kinesiology & Health Studies since 2019. Machnaik is an integral part of University of Regina's Varsity Sports team and performs a number of key roles relating to budgets and forecasting, logistics, and academics.

Originally from Balgonie, Machnaik still lives there along with her husband Travis. They have two children, Samantha and Nathan.
