Braden Konschuh

Braden Konschuh is in his 13th season as the University of Regina’s sports information director, a position he has held since July of 2006. He serves as the primary media contact for 10 of the school's 13 varsity sports and is responsible for the department’s Internet sites, social media, printed publications, webcasting, digital content, and game-day statistical operations.

Konschuh graduated from Bemidji State University in 2004 and received his master’s degree in management communication from the University of Portland in 2006. He worked as a graduate assistant with Portland's sports information department, primarily working with the volleyball, tennis, cross country, and track & field teams.

Konschuh is married to the former Brittney Burns, a four-year starter for Bemidji State's volleyball team. They live in Regina with their sons Alexander (born 2014) and Max (born 2016) and their Great Dane, Sadie.

Konschuh was born in Campbell River, B.C. but grew up in Aldergrove, a town on the eastern outskirts of the Greater Vancouver region. He played hockey and baseball while growing up, and now spends his spare time in Regina playing hockey and fastball at the recreational level.
