Box Score The University of Regina's women's volleyball team secured a home series in the Canada West quarterfinals after recording a four-set victory over the Brandon Bobcats on Saturday night in Brandon.

Brandon took the first set by a 25-23 score, but it was all Cougars after that. Regina reeled off 25-23, 26-24, and 25-22 victories in the second, third, and fourth sets to clinch the match.

Meagan Onstad piled up 18 kills and 16 digs to lead Regina (13-7), while Rebecca Rink led all players with an impressive 24 digs. Beth Clark had 15 kills and four total blocks, and Tiffany Herman had 51 assists to go along with three service aces.

Teagan Hunter led Brandon (13-7) with 18 kills and 20 digs, while Claire Willerton dominated at the net with 11 total blocks.

The Regina win, coupled with Trinity Western's weekend sweep over Thompson Rivers, sets up a rematch between the Cougars and the Bobcats next weekend at the Centre for Kinesiology, Health & Sport in Regina. The best-of-three Canada West quarterfinal will start on Friday and will mark the Cougars' first home playoff series since the 1989-90 season.

NOTES: Regina's total of 13 conference wins stands as the most the team has recorded in a single season, breaking the old mark set in 2005-06 when the Cougars were 12-8 … Rink's 24 digs were a career high … the last time a U of R player had more digs in a four-set match was Samantha Lawrek, who had 25 back on Nov. 9, 2002.
