Brandon University's women's volleyball team continued the momentum from its comeback five-set win on Friday with a three-set victory over the Regina Cougars on Saturday night in a Canada West match at the Centre for Kinesiology, Health & Sport.
The Bobcats came storming out of the gate with a 25-13 win in the first set, then followed that up with 25-16 and 25-18 wins in the second and third set to claim their fourth victory of the Canada West schedule.
Jaryn Ruether and Meaghan Robertson both had 10 kills for Brandon, which hit an impressive .348 as a team in the win including .444 in the second set alone. Ruether added 12 digs for a double-double, while Chloe Reimer matched Ruether with a 12-dig performance. Setter Kellie Baker assisted on 30 of the team's 39 kills.

Michelle Sweeting all had seven kills for the Cougars (2-8) while rookie setter
Meagan Lane made her Canada West debut in the second set and ended up with 12 assists.
Meagan Onstad had a team-high 10 digs.
Brandon improves to 4-6 with the win and will host Saskatchewan (0-8) next weekend in the Bobcats' final matches before the December break, while the Cougars will head east for a pair of away matches against No. 5-ranked Manitoba.
