Manitoba replied just over a minute later, as Courtlyn Oswald as able to solve
Toni Ross. Oswald took a feed from Alanna Sharman and snapped a quick shot over Ross to even things up heading into the third period.
Magwood was able to net the game winner with just over five minutes to play, on a goal that was set up by Braden and
Jolene Kirkpatrick.
Aside from the one blemish, Ross was perfect in net, making 24 saves for her ninth win of the season. Rachel Dyck stopped 31 shots in the loss.
The Cougars and Bisons will face off again tomorrow at 4 p.m. local time for each team's final game before the December break.
