The University of Regina men's hockey team is on home ice this weekend to play host to the UBC Thunderbirds in a pair of Canada West contests at The Co-operators Centre.
Regina (1-9-0) dropped two road games last weekend, falling 7-0 and 6-2 to seventh-ranked Mount Royal University.

Tristan Frei and McNulty each have four points to lead the Cougars offensively.
Andy Desautels,
Dawson MacAuley and
Mitch Kilgore have all seen time in net for the Cougars, with Desautels making seven appearances and MacAuley and Kilgore each playing in three games. Desautels has posted a goals-against average of 3.81 to go along with a .894 save percentage. MacAuley has hit marks of 4.46 and .878 while Kilgore has a 5.78 GAA and .831 save percentage.
UBC is a spot above Regina in the Canada West standings with a 4-6-0 record. The Thunderbirds swept the Lethbridge Pronghorns at home last weekend, taking 4-3 and 3-2 double-overtime wins to bump their current winning streak to three games.
Fourth-year forward Anthony Bardaro leads the T-Birds' attack with seven goals and four assists in 10 games played. Austin Vetterl has nine points to his credit and Jerret Smith has added seven in eight games.
UBC netminder Derek Dun, formerly of the NCAA's Northern Michigan Wildcats, is atop the conference with a .930 save percentage in five appearances. Matt Hewitt has played in seven games and sports a 2-5-0 record.
UBC took three of the four games against the Cougars last season, with Regina's lone win coming in a 2-1 defeat on Feb. 6.
