Mount Royal found their groove in the second period as Iverson, Fyten and Richards all scored to extend their lead to 4-0.
With 1:31 left in the second period, Barnstable responded for Regina. The rookie scored his first U SPORTS career goal after digging the puck out of the crease, putting it on his backhand and flicking it over Hoflin's sprawling glove.
