Mount Royal led 1-0 after the first period, but scored four times in the middle stanza and cruised to a 6-1 win over Regina on Saturday afternoon at the Flames Community Arena in Calgary.
Kate Scidmore scored a hat trick, Anna Purschke notched a pair, and Tianna Ko scored the other for Mount Royal (5-3-0-0) as goalie Zoe DeBeauville stopped 17 of 18 shots to secure the win.
Regina's lone goal came near the 13-minute mark of the third period.
Jaycee Magwood notched her fourth goal of the season after firing a shot from the right boards that snuck by DeBeauville.
The weekend marked the second of four consecutive road games for Regina (1-6-1-0). The Cougars will have next weekend off before returning to Canada West play on Nov. 8 and Nov. 9 against the Manitoba Bisons in Winnipeg.
