The University of Regina Rams dropped a 34-11 loss to Alberta on Thursday night in a non-conference game at the Methanex Bowl in Medicine Hat.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Rams had the only points of the first quarter when Christian Katende rumbled in for a seven-yard touchdown thanks in large part to a short field following a Joe Camplin punt block
- Alberta scored on a one-yard plunge on the first play of the second quarter and added a field goal and another touchdown to go up 20-7 at halftime
- The Golden Bears added a pick six in the third and one final major in the fourth quarter to seal the victory
