QUICKLY
The University of Regina's women's volleyball team fell in three sets on Saturday night to the Calgary Dinos at the Centre for Kinesiology, Health & Sport.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Calgary set the tone for the match early, hitting .435 as a team as the Dinos took a 25-15 victory in the opening set.
• It looked as though Calgary had the second set well in hand after the Dinos went up 18-10, but the Cougars got back into it with a 9-1 burst that featured extended serving runs by both Fiona Little and Piper Harkness. The big run by the Cougars tied it up at 19-19, but the Dinos collected five of the next six points and then converted their second attempt at set point with a Daisy Olsen kill that gave them a 25-21 win.
• Calgary controlled the third set from the start, jumping out to a 16-6 lead. Regina made it interesting by scoring the next six points, but couldn't get any closer than 16-12 and the Dinos clinched the match with a 25-17 victory.

COUGAR NOTES

• Piper Harkness had five kills and tied for the match lead with four blocks.
• Bailey Balaberda led the Cougars with seven kills.
• Setter Cassadi Klapak had 17 assists and led all players with 11 digs.

NEXT UP
The Cougars will have next weekend off before continuing their stretch of six consecutive home matches on Nov. 17 and Nov. 18 against Trinity Western.
